Nope. Not Whitesnake

Hint #3 This band started in the late 70's and published under the Polydor label.
Hint #4 The band's name is after the leader's name.

sorry POPCorn my company got busy.

That would be the Pat Travers Band. The pic is from the cover of the Evie single, with Evie being side A, and Prelude side B. smile223

If I remeber right Pat is sitting on the right, with the long straight hair.

Nailed It!!!

I saw him 3 times at Jezebels in Anaheim CA and got him to sign 3 albums of his that I had.

Putting it straight
Heat in the Street
Crash and Burn

I had all of those albums (vinyl)

Also bought the Hot Shot album after that.

I wasn't much into his Live, Go for what you know album, which had his only real hit single, Boom Boom, (Out go the lights).

Good job, Cutter smile116

Some notable singles of his;

Life in London
Crash and Burn
Snorting Whiskey
Stevie
Killer
Hot Shot
Those Dudes
Evie (let your hair hang down!)

Ahhhh memories. smile228

This band began their career in 1971 as a bunch of rather unpretentious young Brits with an affection for American blues and '50s rock 'n' roll.

I never would have guessed Foghat were British.

That singer looks like the replacement for Bon Scott in AC/DC. Don't know his name though.
I guess I could Goog it. Is that the right person, Muppers?

Edit:
Brian Johnson?
