Thought about the game. The teams got switched around. Colts did good first quarter. Saints did good second half. That was suppose to be the other way around. Oh well. Everyone loses on in their career. I still will always back my Colts under any circumstances. Peyton will still always be my quarterback i want in the 4th quarter of any game. Things could have happened differently. Yea, Peyton may have gave it to his HOME TEAM. That is like if you were to play pro football in another confrence and then play your home team in the Super Bowl who has never won before. Oh well, so i bruised my hand on Cutter's trim on the door... lol oops.

Good job Saints. See ya'll next year.

P.S.
Im not changing my signature, because I honestly dont think they suck. They can go 0-16 and i will always wear blue on Sunday.

A bet is a bet, Dude. I know you're not the type to welch out on a bet.
The Chargers are my team, but I honored the bet, even though we did not even agree to the bet prior to the game. smile138

.... but I will give you an out.

If you would rather make a donation of any amount to DRC, I will consider that fulfilling the terms of the bet.

Else you'd be sporting the sig after you went 1-3 in the Wild Card week. smile138

Now .... I'll take that signature as you posted it above, for the remainder of the month of February if the Colts win.
.... and when the Colts lose .... your siggy will be;

I am Avery, woefully poor at NFL picks, who is less superior to **DRC**POPCorn. It is my honored priviledge to kiss his arse...... GO SAINTS!

It's only a couple of weeks, Amigo. And it does not even mention your beloved Colts.

But .... if you would rather donate, I'm all for that.

Well it turned out to be a good game in the end and I'm really glad the Saints won now that Peyton has turned into what appears to be a very bad loser. I watched a couple pre-game shows where they were calling it the "who gives a s#!t bowl" and the "boring bowl" but it was pretty exciting even for use people that really didn't give a s#!t who won... I had to go for the underdog just because that's what I normally do when I don't really care.

Yes it was a very good game that came down to who was going to make the mistake..It ended up being the colts. both teams did very well and there should be no shame in the outcome.

And what is the saying. "show me a good looser and I'll show you a looser." Nobody likes to loose even if it's a friendly game.

Just because I'm the new guy does not mean I am the one to die the most.

Not going out to shake the opposing teams hand is beyond being a loser! I wrestled for about 15 years and played football for many as well. If we had refused to go out and shake the opposing teams hands, we'd have been off the team. Likewise, when I coached our Air Force wrestling teams in England, I would have booted anyone acting like that. That saying is BS, not to mention that I've never heard anyone say it before. You can lose and have humility as well. Imagine if we all followed that saying... so the entire losing team went to the locker room with out so much as saying "good game" to opposition. Yea, sure! That really teaches some good sportsmanship. You win as a team and you lose as a team and that's far more true in football than it is in wrestling.

Let me guess, you wanted to see the Colts win, didn't ya?

I don't know what was going with Peyton's head. I honestly didn't watch any of that cause I was in SOOOOO MUCH FRUSTRATION! No one really knows what is going on in his head. It is his hometown team that finally won their big game and emotion got to him I already know it. Oh well... it will stamp mark him forever now when people go to think of the Best Player in NFL history

I'm not sure I'm ready to put that title behind Peyton's name yet. He's good, but he has a lot more to prove to wear that title. Even if you said, "Best Quarterback in NFL history", I'm not sure he even deserves that yet.

It would be hard for me to give that title to a QB. The best QB for my money though was Joe Montana.

Montana and Allen, even at the age the Chiefs got them were still a deadly combo!

Ok, then what do you think he needs to do? win 3 more super bowls? Have the best win record in all of football. Break every single record there is ever possible of breaking, offense, defense, and special teams? What?
You can't only take stats and super bowls when you determine that kind of thing. For what goes on in his head, he analyzes everything the split second it happens. I'm not even going to continue on how great he is. "The Best Player in NFL History" is a personal opinion IMHO. You can't just tag someone for everyone to have to take. It all is determined by what you think.

Allright, allright...
Put Peyton's jock strap back, his wife's getting pissed. smile228

Please understand I'm not taking anything away from Peyton, he is a great quarterback. I just don't think you understand the gravity of the title you're giving him.

Others deserving:
Bradshaw
Unitas
Montana
Marino
Young
Staubach
Starr
Dickerson
Christensen
Sharpe
Moss
Dawson
Elway
Smith
Aikman
Riggins
Dorsett
Sanders
Swann
Namath

These are just a few that I can think of who could hold that same title, or at least be in contention. I'm sure I've left out a lot, but I didn't think I needed a huge list.

Also remember that the QB's that I've listed all played without the "we can't hurt the QB" rule. They took their lumps, or broken legs (Theiseman) and kept coming back.

Jerry Rice?
Walter Payton?
Brett Favre?
Tom Brady?

Payton Manning is a great QB. I cannot say that he is the best there ever was. He's certainly in the top 10 ever, though. And I'd definitely put him right up there with the top 3 currently playing the game.

But please, Avery, give Drew Brees his due. He had an awesome year, and has only continued to improve over his 4 years in New Orleans. Oh .... and he won the Superbowl.

If you want to be angry, take it out on the Colts for letting you down.
Don't take it out on the Saints who did everything they needed to to to win the game.

BTW ..... Avery .... I thought we had a bet? smile138
Are you planning on making a contribution to DRC, or you gonna adjust your signature for 30 days?
